I worked as an intern on the NBA Live HD console team from August to December 2019 at EA Tiburon. During this internship, I applied many skills at a AAA development level, including project management, feedback, and design, while working with team members at the studio and across the world. I worked on designs and storylines relating to the Franchise, World Tour, and League modes, fixed designer bugs in proprietary software, and disseminated tasks and bugs to others on my team. I was able to work directly with designers, engaging in a back and forth iterative dialogue over new features and ideas, as well as artists and software engineers. I also proposed, designed, and oversaw implementation of improvements to internal tools and workflows. I playtested the game and wrote targeted feedback on the onboarding process and specific modes. I was mentored directly by producers and participated in planning meetings, getting a front-row seat to the day-to-day conversations that drive a large AAA project forward.
